Social Dilemma - Do You Do Your Taxes Early, Late, or Not at All?

We got this email a few days ago, and I thought it would be a perfect social dilemma for today.   Here goes.  Hi Jaime, my name is Donna, and I'm writing about your social dilemma.  Mine has to do with tax day, and I wondered if you could use it.  My husband and I fight every single year when tax time comes along.  I always say we should do our taxes by the second week in February, that way we can get them done and out of the way.  My husband always wants to wait until the last second because he feels like we should keep our money for as long as we can.  I think it's better to not have to spend anytime thinking about it.  He says it's our money and they can wait till the last day to get it.   I'm curious if other families have this argument.  I hope you can use this as a social dilemma Jaime.   I'll be listening. ~ Donna.

Interesting question Donna.  I do have this argument with my sweetie from time to time and it makes me crazy.  I want to get the taxes done immediately.  Usually we get a return from the Feds and have to pay the state, so I say let's just get it over with.  But nope my sweetie feels the same way as your husband.  We usually compromise and do them in mid to late March.   I'm curious to hear what others do.  Do you pay yours right away, or do you wait till the last minute.  Will you be in line at the post office tonight, mailing it out?   Let me know what you think on the 98-3 TRY Facebook page.
