I don't know about you, but I LOVED the movie, The First Wives Club! It was funny and moving and just perfect! Well now comes word that Paramount (the new TV network where Spike TV used to be) is going to be making a First Wives Club TV show. They've ordered ten episodes, and it will start filming in the summer. Word is it will air in early 2019! No word yet on whether or not any of the original stars (Bette Midler, Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn, Sarah Jessica Parker, etc) will make cameo appearances, but either way, I'm all in. I loved this movie and I think they can do a good job with a TV show too. What about you? Will you be watching when it comes out? Or do you think it's past it's prime?
