Social Dilemma - Do You Let The Rain Stop You From Making Plans?

Our social dilemma today has to do with the weather.  It's something that makes me a little crazy and then I thought maybe I'm being unreasonable, so I thought I would bring it to you.  I'm supposed to have dinner tonight with a friend who I haven't seen in about two months.  You know how life can get so we haven't had a chance to see each other so we've both really been looking forward to catching up tonight.  She lives in Albany, I live in East Greenbush so we're meeting in the middle at Druthers in Menands.   Anyway, last night I got a text from her saying that she might not be able to make it tonight because it's going to rain.   I thought surely there had to be more to it, so I texted back and asked, and she said no, she really wants to get together but she doesn't want to go out if it's raining.  She said that as she's gotten older, going out when the weather is yucky just doesn't appeal to her.  I was a little hurt, and just to be clear, I told her I would be talking about this today on the air.   I would never push someone to do something they didn't want to do, but the place we're going to is literally 10 minutes from her house, and ten from mine.  But she said she would get back to me today with a final answer.  Weather has never stopped me from doing anything.  Rain, snow, I'll go out, it doesn't bother me.  But I thought I'd ask you.  Does rain stop you from going out if you have plans.  No judgement zone.  Please be straight with me.   Let me know what you think on the 98-3 TRY Facebook page.
