Today's 98.3 TRY Social Dilemma came from Mandy and it's about work. Here's her email: Hi Jaime. Here's a question. For the last year, I’ve worked in a satellite office with one coworker. I’m a 44-year-old woman and he’s a 50-something man, and we spend eight hours a day, five days a week in a small office, just the two of us. So I was a bit shocked and worried when I learned that he spent 10 years in jail for manslaughter. He was in a fight with a guy who later died. This was over 20 years ago and he’s never shown even a little bit of aggression in the year I’ve known him, but I feel like it was irresponsible for my work to put me in such a vulnerable position. I don't think I like the idea of working alone with him now. I think my boss should never have put me in a small office with him. I think my boss should do something about this. What do you think? Thanks ~ Mandy. Well, I think if Mandy's coworker has never shown any issues over the past year, then nothing should be made of this.
